I’m exhibiting new work including the ‘black on black’ lichen pots. This year I have invited Mandy Cheng who creates dazzling vessels using the nerikomi technique, Ilona Sulikova who makes raku fired full bellied pots, and Lesley Seeger who paints plein air colourful and abstract landscapes.
Did you know that lichens arent a single organism? like most other living things, they consist of two ( or sometimes more) partners that exist together, a fungus and an alga (or algae) , which produce a new body or lichen thallus.
